Description:

This lecture course will provide an extensive overview of the legal and ethical issues arising from advancements in medical technology. The topics include (but are not limited to) the right to die, euthanasia, abortion, fetal-maternal conflicts, organ transcripts, defining life and death, experimentation, reproductive assistance, and the legalization of marijuana (or other drugs) for limited purposes. We will cover timely subjects as they arise.
