Description:

This seminar will examine the coordination and conflict between the Congress and the President in areas in which they share power and compete for dominance. The topics covered include each branch's unilateral authority to interpret the Constitution; executive immunity and privilege; judicial selection; impeachment and removal; internal rule-making in the Senate; and foreign affairs.
