| This course will explore the law of homicide from an interdisciplinary perspective. Drawing on social theory, criminology, political science and ethnographic accounts, the course will explore such major issues in homicide law as premeditation, provocation, unintentional killings, felony murder, self defense, insanity, diminished capacity and syndrome evidence such as battered spouse syndrome. |
