Description:

This course examines the current market-based system of health care delivery and the financing of health care services. Topics include the organization of health care entities, not-for-profit tax, corporate, the regulation of health care providers' financial relationships by the federal government through the Medicare program, and the law and regulation of managed care organizations.

Prerequisites:

Business Associations is a prerequisite, which may be waived with consent of the instructor.
