This course examines the legal profession, regulation of the profession, confidentiality; the lawyer-client relationship, conflicts of interest; and duties to courts, adversaries, and third persons. Using the problem method, students will learn how to apply the rules to practical situations and think critically about the relationship between legal ethics and personal ethics.
