Work Description

Land Loss is a nonprofit law firm providing free legal assistance to individuals throughout NC that are struggling to maintain ownership of land and property rights. This requires us to practice in many areas of real property law, foreclosures, estates, bankruptcy, civil rights, eminent domain, and agricultural law.

Projects may include research and memo writing; court documents; updates to educational materials, and other outreach materials. Heir property ownership analysis. Preparation of simple wills. Client meetings where appropriate.

Real property, estates, and probate classes helpful.
