Work Description

Externs can expect to perform legal research related to bankruptcy law, federal jurisdiction, and federal/state law issues arising within the context of bankruptcy. The extern will help prepare Judge Kahn for court, review bankruptcy filings, attend court (Tuesdays and/or Thursdays), and aid in the preparation of orders.

The main chambers are in Greensboro, however, we attend court in Durham once every other week, normally on Tuesday mornings.

Externs should have taken (preferred) or be taking Bankruptcy.
