Work Description

DESCRIPTION OF ORGANIZATION: The North Central Legal Assistance Program provides civil legal services to indigent persons in four (4) substantive areas of law: Housing, Family, Consumer and Public Benefits.

DESCRIPTION OF STUDENT WORK/PROJECTS: Students are assigned to specific advocates who monitor the tasks of the extern. A case/project status review is provided by each supervising advocate on a weekly basis.

REQUIREMENTS/PREFERENCES FOR STUDENT: Will take up to two externs per semester.
