Work Description

DESCRIPTION OF ORGANIZATION: This section handles the Department of Transportation's condemnation cases in counties throughout the state. Other matters handled by attorneys in this section include personnel cases, construction claims, outdoor advertising control issues, environmental issues, etc.

DESCRIPTION OF STUDENT WORK/PROJECTS: Research, drafting pleadings and discovery, communicating with court personnel regarding trials, hearings, etc., assisting attorneys in mediation and trial preparation and then providing assistance during mediation and trial.

COURSE AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS/PREFERENCES FOR STUDENT: One student will be allowed on this site per semester.
