Inclement Weather

As a general rule, the School of Law follows the University closings policy in case of inclement weather. Therefore, if the University is closed, the School of Law is closed as well. The University's dedicated inclement weather line is 919.843.1234. In certain circumstances, however, classes may be cancelled at the discretion of the instructor or the administration. In case of inclement weather, where classes are delayed or cancelled, a recorded message containing information on the status of classes will be played on this dedicated phone line: 919.843.9075. The message will be available beginning at 7:00 a.m. Additionally, the School of Law website will be updated to reflect the status of classes.

It is preferable that you try these phone lines first, but you can also listen to the following radio stations, for broadcasts of the School of Law's closing:

Note that a closing will only be aired on these media outlets in the rare circumstance that the School of Law closes while the University remains open.
