Students may register for up to two courses. Registration for a third course is considered an overload and is permitted only if authorized by the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs.
Residents: $370 per credit hour ($1,110 for a three-credit course).
Non-residents: $695 per credit hour ($2,085 for a three-credit course)
No formal application is required. Students from law schools other than UNC-Chapel Hill must provide the following to the School of Law Registrar's Office:
It is recommended that the Summer 2016 registration form, letter of good standing and residency application be received ASAP in late March/early April in order to be considered for early registration. Visiting students who do not complete registration by April 28 may be required to pre-pay tuition/fees or provide proof of financial aid prior to registration.
