Lawyering Soft-Skills Seminar begins Monday, May 13 and ends Friday, May 31.

Professional Responsibility begins Tuesday, May 14, and ends Tuesday, June 18.

Evidence begins Tuesday, May 14 and ends Thursday, June 13.

The Externship Program begins May 13 and ends June 21.

Monday, May 27, is a holiday for all classes.

The final exam dates for Professional Responsibility and Evidence are as follows:

Lawyering Soft-Skills Seminar - no final exam

Course Load

Students may register for up to two courses. Registration for a third course is considered an overload and is permitted only if authorized by the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs.

Tuition and Fees

$390 per credit hour for resident students, and $720 per credit hour for non-resident students. Tuition/fees are due Friday, May 10 (bills will be posted in ConnectCarolina). Tuition and fee payments may be paid online or by mail to the University Cashier, Suite 2215 SASB North, CB #1400, 450 Ridge Road, Chapel Hill, NC 27599-1400.

Registration

Registration begins Monday, March 18, and ends Thursday, May 16.  A $20 late registration fee will be charged starting May 15. All UNC and visiting students must register and attend classes before May 16, and visiting students should allow sufficient time for administrative processing of summer school registration forms. UNC law students register online in ConnectCarolina. If you have questions about registration, please contact the law registrar's office.

Students who do not register by 5:00pm May 3, may be required to pre-pay tuition/fees or provide proof of financial aid prior to registration. The last day to drop a course online for tuition and fee credit is May 17. The last day to drop a course and receive NO REFUND is June 10. The last day to withdraw from all classes with NO REFUND is June 14.
