UNC School of Law only accepts applications to visit as a full time (at least nine credit hours) student. A student currently enrolled at another law school and entering their last year (you are not allowed to visit as a 1L or 2L student), may apply as a visiting student (non-degree candidate) for the fall and/or spring term by submitting the following: Application for admission. Electronic applications will be available beginning May 13, 2013 at http://www.lsac.org/. $75 application fee A letter of good standing from the dean at your current law school. An official transcript, sent directly to the Office of Admissions, from your current law school, reflecting law courses completed and grades received from all law schools attended. An updated copy of your CAS (formerly LSDAS report) from the Law School Admission Council indicating all law schools attended. Two (2) letters of recommendation. A statement of the reason for visiting, in lieu of the personal statement. A resume or comprehensive listing of experience and achievements. We will begin accepting applications for students who wish to visit in the Fall 2013 and/or Spring 2014 semesters on May 13, 2013. The application deadline is June 28, 2013, and grades for courses completed after that date must be submitted to the Office of Admissions as soon as they are available.
