Ms. Kott is the Director of Admissions at The University of North Carolina School of Law at Chapel Hill. She received her B.A. in Sociology from Elon College (now University) in Elon, North Carolina. Over thirteen years ago, Ms. Kott began her commitment to a career in higher education by joining the admission stafff at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in Savannah, Georgia, where she served as the New England States Admission Representative. In 2000, she accepted the position of Manager of the Co-op MBA program at Northeastern University Graduate School of Business Administration in Boston, Massachusettes. Here she was responsible for marketing, recruiting, admission and enrollment for the full time program. Ms. Kott joined the staff at Tulane University Law School in July 2003 as Admission Counselor and became Assistant Director of Admission and Recruitment shortly thereafter. During her time at Tulane Law School, Ms. Kott was the recipient of the 2007 Distinguished Staff Award and is a proud survivor of Hurricane Katrina. Her service with the Law School Admission Council (LSAC) began as a panelist at the Annual Meetings and Conferences. Most recently, Ms. Kott is a member of the National Recruitment Calendar Work Group and a member of the Misconduct and Irregularities Subcommitee with the Law School Admission Council. Ms. Kott also serves the community as a youth soccer coach for the Kernersville Family YMCA in Kernersville, North Carolina.
