All Carolina Law alumni are members of the UNC Law Alumni Association. The Alumni Association is governed by a board of directors which consists of representatives from three geographic regions within the state of North Carolina, as well as members from Atlanta, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, Richmond and Washington, D.C.
The association sponsors an annual Law Reunion Weekend, Scholarship Golf Classic, Bluegrass & BBQ tailgate party, as well as other events throughout the country. Many endowed scholarships, awarded on the basis of superior academic performance and demonstrated need, have also been established through the generous resources of the UNC Law Alumni Association.

Carolina Law's 11,000+ graduates have become distinguished educators, honored judges, leaders in business, outstanding practitioners and leaders in government -- including members of Congress, counsel to government agencies and hundreds of state and local elected officials.
A majority of the school's graduates practice law in North Carolina, but alumni are found in all 50 states and in 15 countries, with large concentrations in New York, Atlanta and Washington, D.C. Forty percent of all attorneys practicing in North Carolina are Carolina Law graduates.

Legacy of Leadership
Educating Lawyers - Graduating Leaders
We are lawyer-leaders within North Carolina, our communities and beyond. Your help is needed to show the leaders in our state and communities the tremendous value that we provide as public servants. As graduates of Carolina Law, we are uniquely qualified to serve as legislators, county commissioners, city council members, school board members, non-profit board members, and in a variety of other capacities. We provide counsel for free or at greatly reduced fees for non-profits. As a result, we are routinely asked to fill a variety of roles that are critical to the life of our communities. We accept those responsibilities without hesitation. Volunteering our time and skills where we live and work greatly contribute to the fabric of our communities. We need to ensure that there is an awareness of the level of commitment that we have to enriching the lives of the people of North Carolina and beyond.
