Make a Gift

A tax-deductible gift by check or credit card is the most common type of charitable gift and can be made online or by printing out and mailing in the online gift form, but there are numerous ways that donors help our school and its mission.

Online Giving

A convenient giving method by credit card through a secure online form.

Online Pledge

A convenient method to make an online pledge.

Stock Gifts, Automatic Bank Draft, Payroll Deduction & Gifts by Mail

The UNC Giving Web site provides donors access to online forms for stocks, bank drafts and UNC employee payroll deduction, plus printable forms for gifts by mail.

Matching Gifts

Employer matching gifts can double or triple a contribution to the Law Annual Fund. Many corporations and law firms will match employee contributions to educational institutions and some will also match gifts by spouses and retirees. Donor recognition is determined by the donor's total annual gift -- including any matched gift received during the fiscal year. Find out if your company will match your gift and how to apply at our online database.

To expedite the processing of matching gifts, please mail your signed matching gift form (provided by your employer) along with your gift. For more information, please contact Meredith Kincaid, deputy director of development, kime@email.unc.edu, 919.962.0694.

Additional Methods of Giving

Many donors choose to capitalize on other forms of giving that can create a signifance legacy for the school. Examples include long-term appreciated securities, gifts of real property, deferred gifts, bequests and IRA rollovers. For more information, contact Janice Periquet, assistant dean of development, 919.962.7701.
