Class reunion representatives serve as members of their class reunion committee. As a working group of dedicated volunteers, these alumni will be reaching out to their classmates in order to achieve two important goals – inviting their classmates to return to the law school for Law Reunion Weekend and encouraging their classmates to support the class gift effort.

Specific Responsibilities

Demonstrate personal support for the reunion effort

  • Make plans to attend Law Reunion Weekend, May 1-2, 2015
  • Make a thoughtful gift early in the reunion giving campaign, prior to making contact with classmates
  • Participate in class specific planning for Reunion 2015

Contact classmates to encourage Law Alumni Weekend attendance

  • Review class lists to choose classmates to contact based on personal knowledge
  • Follow up with calls, emails or visits
  • Update the Office of Advancement on the progress of contacts

Encourage assigned classmates to support the Reunion Gift Campaign

  • Include your name in the class letter request for a gift or pledge in honor of your reunion
  • Contact members of your class via phone, email or in person contact to request a gift or pledge in honor of your reunion

Contact Dana Dubis, director of annual giving, at 919.445.0166 or dubis@email.unc.edu for more information or to volunteer to serve as a class reunion representative.
