NCCU School of Law Professors Scott Holmes and Irving Joyner and Attorney David Neal will speak about their experience representing Moral Monday arrestees. The attorneys have experienced both success and defeat in the District Court trials. They will discuss the unique issues presented in the Moral Monday cases including the legal theory of the cases and the reason for differing outcomes. Race and the Law Speaker Series is sponsored by the UNC Center for Civil Rights.
