The Professional Development Pick Me Up series is a collection of workshops specifically for summer RAs to come have a snack and coffee, network, and learn about a topic useful for the life of a law student. RAs who attend these sessions may count them as paid time on their timesheets, subject to their immediate supervisors' approval and to their specific weekly caps on hours logged for payment.
This session in particular is "Leading as a Lawyer."  You have learned how to think, write, and speak as a lawyer, but these activities don't take place in a vacuum. New lawyers have to work effectively with supervisors, peers, and clients -- come learn how different leadership skills can be used in each of these contexts!
