Come listen to an interactive discussion with a panel of experts from Red Hat, the world's leading provider of open source solutions. This session will begin with a short primer on the basics of open source, then address topics such as: the role of community development in open source technologies, the factors at play in determining the appropriate open source license, the challenges faced by a company like Red Hat of developing an open source business model around a freely available product, and the challenges many proprietary companies face of incorporating open source technology into their proprietary business model.

This event is sponsored by the Entrepreneurial Law Association, Carolina Intellectual Property Law Association, and the Transactional and Corporate Law Association.
