A New Frontier in the Boutique Firm Practice  Setting – Representing Entrepreneurs and Growing Their IP rights

Raina Haque ’12 is the founder and owner of Erdos Intellectual Property Law + Startup Legal, a boutique intellectual property firm in Winston-Salem with a global reach. Raina represents numerous creative clients including small business owners, startups, musicians, designers, engineers and inventors, with a practice at the forefront of digital media, software, biotech, and financial industries, positioning their intellectual property to “thrive and survive” in the global marketplace.

Raina graduated from Wellesley College in 2007 with a degree in Bioinformatics and worked as a business analyst and software engineer for Merrill Lynch in New York before graduating from Carolina Law in 2012. She is a registered patent attorney and was recently recognized with a Winston <40 Leadership Award.  She is excited to be returning to the law school as an Attorney in Residence, and is especially interested in meeting students interested in intellectual property law and patents, startups, entrepreneurship, and starting their own firms.
