Classroom 4004 - William Graham Jr. Classroom

The UNC School Pro Bono Alumni Board will be hosting this training, designed for attorneys who will participate in the UNC Cancer Pro Bono Legal Project, a collaborative project sponsored by UNC School of Law's Pro Bono Program, NC Cancer Hospital, and Legal Aid of North Carolina. Through this project, UNC law students work under the supervision of
volunteer attorneys to provide advance directive documents, on-site, to patients who are served by the
UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center. Participants will receive substantive training about the
advance directive documents that are provided through this project and will develop practical stills for
interviewing and counseling clients, drafting and executing advance directive documents, and supervising
and mentoring law students.
Registration is free to attorneys willing to volunteer with the project, though CLE fees will be assessed by the State Bar at a later date.  Register here.
