In 2010, the American Bar Association reported that only 5% of attorneys in the United States were African American. Join the Black Law Student Association as we unpack that statistic.  Our event will feature a panel of distinguished African American Attorneys that represent various fields of the legal profession. The subject matter will focus on questions of diversity and inclusion in the legal field, exploring why there are so few attorneys of color in the profession, and discuss the social, political, and economic implications of this low percentage.
