The Federalist Society kicks off the Spring 2018 semester with a debate on the future of the Chevron Doctrine. A prominent feature of administrative law since 1984, the doctrine--which requires courts to give broad deference to federal agencies--may be nearing the end of its existence, at least in its current form. Come listen to UNC Law Professors Donald Hornstein and Andy Hessick debate the outlook for the doctrine. Fed Soc will provide lunch.
