The Carolina Law Club of Wilmington and the Alumni Pro Bono Board invites local alumni to join UNC School of Law students as well as Carolina Law staff and project supervising attorneys for a dinner in Wilmington on Tuesday, March 13 from 7-9 p.m.
Partnering with the N.C. Justice Center and the New Hanover
County District Attorney’s Office, these students will be meeting with individuals who have
suspended drivers licenses as a result of unpaid fees and unresolved minor
traffic violations. Students will meet with clients, determine their
eligibility for driver’s license restoration, and prepare and present motions
for dismissal.
We hope that your schedule will allow you to join us in
welcoming these students to your community, hear about their work, and enjoy
this time to reconnect with other alumni and friends.
