Duane Morris LLP | 1540 Broadway | New York, New York

As part of the UNC School of Law Summer Spotlight series, we are proud to present Hot Topics in the Law: Prosecutors and Politics, a conversation with Carolina Law Professor Carissa Hessick.

Hessick, who launched the Prosecutors and Politics Project in early 2018, works with student research associates to collect and analyze data about political donations to the campaigns of elected prosecutors, local district attorneys and state level attorneys general. Hessick will provide an update on her research and highlights of other Carolina Law initiatives.

This gathering, in addition to showcasing the outstanding academic work conducted at our law school, also provides a unique opportunity to connect local alumni with current students working in New York over the summer, as well as admitted students in the area. Our programs thrive on the prominent presence of our alumni to provide advice and support to 1L and 2L summer associates and help the law school recruit the incoming class of 2021. We hope that you will join us for this informative presentation, and to show your support Carolina Law.
