Parker Poe is hosting a program to help minority
students navigate law school, make a successful transition into the
practice of law after graduation, and thrive as they
embark on their legal career - whatever path they may choose. The keynote speaker will be Phyllis Golden Morey,
the Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at Ingersoll Rand. There will
also be panels of practicing attorneys
discussing topics such as the distinction between a litigation practice and a
transactional practice, in addition to highlighting different approaches to
having a successful legal career. The panel discussions will be followed by
three smaller breakout sessions:
