Professor Theodore "Ted" Shaw, director of the UNC Center for Civil Rights, is speaking on a panel about the legal and historical aspects of Reconstruction. This free event hosted by the NC Museum of History will examine the legislation and court cases that provided a foundation for the modern Civil Rights movement. Shaw is one of three distinguished scholars speaking.
