Are you thinking about applying to Carolina Law? Do you have questions about the application process? Do you want to hear from current Carolina Law students or learn about financing a legal education? If you are interested, join us on Friday, January, 14th, 2011 for the Office of Admissions Open House for Prospective Students.
Check in and registration will begin at 8:30 a.m in the Law School Rotunda, and the program will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m. The Open House is not limited to but will include an overview of the admissions process presented by the Assistant Dean for Admissions, Michael States, followed by a discussion on financing a legal education. In addition, a law student panel will discuss student life at Carolina Law and answer questions about their experiences and anything else you want to know about being a student. The event will conclude with optional tours of the law school and library. The Open House will end around 1:00 p.m.

Parking is available in the Rams Head Parking Deck, located on Ridge Road. This is a five to seven minute walk to the law school so give yourself extra time to make it to the event on time. The rate for each lot is $1.25 per hour. Please note that the law school CAN NOT issue you a permit to park anywhere on campus, including at the law school. Parking in spaces that require a permit without permission will result in you getting ticketed. When you come out of the Rams Head Parking Deck facing Ridge Road, take a left. Walk past the Baseball Stadium and Football practice fields. You will see a circular drive on your left leading to the law school building. This is the law school's main entrance. Registration will be straight ahead and down the stairs in the Rotunda.
