University of Leicester Victoria Fisher Memorial Prize 2012
The University of Leicester’s School of Law has been
organizing this annual prize for over 18 years. Its purpose is to
stimulate interest in the relationship between women and the law.
This subject was of special interest to the late
Victoria M Fisher as both an academic and a feminist. Victoria was a
lecturer in the Faculty of Law from 1979 to 1986. She was a founder
member of the Women and Law group and an active trade unionist.
