Join us on Thursday, January 17, for a round-table discussion with:
Phillip Woods - Special Attorney General & Deputy Director, Consumer Protection Division, NC Department of Justice
Cindy Liebes - Southeast Regional Director, Federal Trade Commission
This event is a chance for students, faculty and staff to learn about the consumer protection work of the NCDOJ, FTC and UNC Law's own Consumer Financial Transactions Clinic, and to discuss the role that students can play in those organizations. This will be an informal discussion. It is a particularly valuable opportunity for any students who are considering an internship or post-graduate employment with the NCDOJ or FTC to connect with senior-level staff in those organizations. All are welcome to attend.
