, UNC School of Law Aubrey L. Brooks Professor of Law, is traveling to Asheville to provide a lunchtime CLE* session on the much debated and controversial topic of Fracking (hydraulic fracturing, a process by which water, sand and chemicals are pumped underground to break apart the rock and release gas). Professor Hornstein, a leading environmental law expert, will discuss the current status of Fracking in North Carolina, as well as the nation as a whole. He will also provide legal insight into some of the overlooked non-environmental issues involving natural gas production, regulation, and use.
