1L class officer elections will be
held on Thursday, Sept. 19. The Student Bar Association (SBA) is the
student governing body for the law school that facilitates communication
between the administration and the student body. It is a great way to get
involved on campus! We are holding information sessions for interested
students on Monday, Sept. 9 and Wednesday, Sept. 11 at noon in room
5054. If you are interested in running for 1L class president or either
of the two 1L class representative positions, you MUST attend one of the
information sessions or your name will NOT be on the ballot on election day and
you will have to run as a write-in candidate.
The information sessions will
cover rules for campaigning, which can be found in the SBA
bylaws, and any other questions you have about the election process.
