Carolina Law ACLU will be hosting a panel discussion on the future of the Voting Rights Act after the Supreme Court's decision in Shelby v. Holder and the impact of changes in North Carolina's election laws on N.C. voters. Panelists include: U.S. Congressman David Price, representing N.C.'s 4th congressional district; Allison Riggs, Staff Attorney at the Southern Coalition for Social Justice; former N.C. Senator Ellie Kinnaird; and Chris Brook, Legal Director of ACLU of North Carolina. The discussion will be moderated by UNC Law Professor Kareem Crayton.
