Information for Employers
Thank you for your interest in recruiting at the University of North Carolina School of Law. UNC is a nationally-recognized school that attracts top students from North Carolina and around the country. As a result, the students you interview at UNC represent some of the finest students in the nation.
We invite employers wishing to recruit UNC Law students to coordinate their recruiting activities through the Career Services Office (CSO). The CSO offers three options for recruiting:
- On-Campus Interviews (OCI) - Employers schedule interview dates, review students' resumes and other materials, and select students to interview at the School of Law. 100% pre-screening is allowed.
- Fall interviews are scheduled from mid-August through late September.
- Spring interviews are scheduled during the month of February.
- Employers may request an interview date through our web-based recruiting system, Symplicity. View the OCI Fee Schedule.
- Interviews are held at the law school, in Van Hecke-Wettach Hall, and typically are scheduled weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with a one hour break for lunch. Lunch is hosted by a representative from the law school at the Hill Alumni Center nearby.
- Visitor parking is available in the pay lot on Highway 54 and in the Rams Head parking deck on Ridge Road. For more information, see the
- Resume Collection - The CSO collects resumes as a group and forwards them to the employer.
- If you would like to request a resume collection, you may do so by selecting a deadline which fits your hiring time frame through our web-based recruiting system, Symplicity.
- Job Bank Postings - Job opportunities are posted online and students respond directly to the employer.
- To post jobs/internships for current students or permanent positions for alumni, please do so through Symplicity or by contacting Adam Ronan (via email to aronan@email.unc.edu or via fax to 919-962-2516).
