This program highlights the legal and
policy issues that were presented during the events of the September 2008 financial
crisis from the legal perspective of the attorneys working to find creative
solutions to these issues.
The Center for Banking and Finance was established at the UNC School of Law on July 1, 2000. The mission of the Center for Banking and Finance is to play a leadership role in the continual evolution of the financial services industry by studying the legal and policy issues related to banking and finance, advancing the teaching of banking and finance (including the professional development of law students interested in careers in banking and finance), and sponsoring conferences for banking industry professionals.
Registration will open July 12 and will be $175 for registrations on or before August 10th. After August 10th, registration will be $250. Registration will close at 5:00 p.m. on September 17th, or earlier if the program fills up.
