This series presents the work of prominent scholars from our own and other schools. Each year, the Center for Banking and Finance sponsors some of the workshop speakers whose interests relate to banking and finance topics. This year, in addition to our sponsorship of workshop speakers that are also part of the Duke-UNC Law & Finance Workshops, we are also sponsoring the workshop of Sean Hagan, general counsel, International Monetary Fund on Friday, October 13. Duke-UNC Law and Finance Workshops Duke Law School and the University of North Carolina School of Law sponsored a workshop series in 2006-07 dedicated to law and finance topics. In the fall of 2006, Duke Law School hosted the workshops and UNC School of Law was the spring 2007 host. The Center for Banking and Finance at the UNC School of Law sponsored the spring workshops.
