CLEAR hosts and co-hosts numerous events related to climate change and climate change adaptation, and regularly welcomes leaders in climate change policy to speak at the law school. Many of these events are open to the public.
Past events have featured speakers such as Rob Verchick, U.S. EPA Deputy Director of Policy, and Ambassador Klaus Scharioth, German Ambassador to the United States. Since 2008, CLEAR has also hosted two major national workshops.
Co-hosted by the Center for Progressive Reform, George Washington University Law School, the Georgetown Climate Center, UCLA's Emmett Center on Climate Change and the Environment, and Vanderbilt University School of Law.
