Events of Interest

CLEAR hosts and co-hosts numerous events related to climate change and climate change adaptation, and regularly welcomes leaders in climate change policy to speak at the law school. Many of these events are open to the public.

Past events have featured speakers such as Rob Verchick, U.S. EPA Deputy Director of Policy, and Ambassador Klaus Scharioth, German Ambassador to the United States. Since 2008, CLEAR has also hosted two major national workshops.

John Dorman of the NC Department of Environment and Natural Resources will present "Technologically Advanced Parcel Information for the Private Sector: The Example of North Carolina IRISK."
