Description

Employers my be viewed in Simplicity under the OCI Session Texas Interview Program 2015. While most of the employers in attendance at TIP are interviewing 2Ls, there are some excellent opportunities for 3Ls as well. Like all off-campus interview programs, you will know whether you have actual interviews before you go, will be expected to attend the program if you are selected for an interview, and you will be responsible for your own travel expenses to the program. UNC students have historically gotten a very positive response from TIP employers, so, again, if you have any interest in this market, it is definitely worthwhile to bid.

Moore & Van Allen PLLC is looking for multiple Intellectual Property associates to work on both their transactional and litigation teams in their Charlotte office. Qualified individuals will have an undergraduate degree in Engineering (preferably, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical or Computer Engineering). For this position, they are accepting resumes from May 2014 or 2015 law school graduates. Excellent academic performance and strong interpersonal skills required. Proper academic degree to sit for the Patent Bar is also required.

Rising 2Ls, 3Ls and '15 grads are invited to participate in the Southeastern Intellectual Property Job Fair which will take place in Atlanta, Georgia on Tuesday, July 28. The majority of the employers prefer or require students with specific technical backgrounds but a few of the employers are seeking students who have a demonstrated interest in trademarks and copyrights. There are two patent agent positions that are open to 2015 grads. Employers are from various locations, including: Atlanta, GA; Washington, DC; Charlotte, Greensboro, Winston-Salem and RTP, NC; Greenville, SC; various locations in Texas; Silicon Valley, CA; New York, NY; and Boston, MA. The attachment includes instructions for registration and a list of employers with their hiring criteria.
