Adrienne counsels students and alumni on career exploration, skills acquisition, the job search process, and networking, with a particular focus in public interest careers in settings that include legal services and nonprofit organizations, as well as government and fellowship opportunities.
As a student at Carolina Law, she was active with C-PILO, DVAP and the Pro Bono Board, participated in both the Clinical and Externship Programs, and was awarded membership in the James E. and Carolyn B. Davis Society. Adrienne clerked for the Honorable Linda M. McGee at the North Carolina Court of Appeals and then practiced appellate advocacy with Wyrick Robbins Yates & Ponton LLP. Most recently, she spent five years working on behalf of North Carolinians with disabilities as a staff attorney and Director of Advocacy & Compliance with Disability Rights North Carolina, a statewide legal services organization. Adrienne is a Board member of the NC Association of Women Attorneys.
