Allen K. Buansi

After earning his B.A. from Dartmouth College, Allen Buansi worked as a research assistant at the Center for Genomics and Society at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He later joined the Richmond-based civil rights law firm of Hill, Tucker and Marsh as a legal assistant. He returned to Chapel Hill as a research assistant on the Promoting Academic Success Initiative at the Frank Porter Graham Child Development Institute. Allen first joined the UNC Center for Civil Rights as a summer intern in the summer of 2013. After earning his J.D., he worked at the Center for Civil Rights before joining the campaign staff of the newly-elected North Carolina Attorney General. After serving as an attorney at the North Carolina Justice Department, Allen rejoined the Center for Civil Rights as an Attorney-Fellow.
