Carrie Clifford joined the Advancement Team in July of 2019 as the director of alumni and donor relations. Her overall responsibilities include engaging the School of Law's alumni, friends, and donors by developing, creating, managing, and evaluating communications, events, programs, and service opportunities.

Prior to joining Carolina Law, Carrie worked at UNC Charlotte as the coordinator of affinity networks and for Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity's headquarters, where she served as the director of alumni engagement and events for over six years. She has her Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) certification from the Events Industry Council as well as a Meeting and Event Planner Certificate from UNC Charlotte.

A Charlotte, NC native, Carrie currently resides in Chapel Hill where she loves living in the city she attended college. She enjoys going to all the UNC athletic events she possibly can as well as volunteering in her local community. A die-hard Carolina Panthers fan, she also is in Charlotte whenever they play at home during the fall.
