Kimalee advises students and alumni interested in judicial clerkships and is responsible for employment statistics and financial matters. Upon graduation from law school, Kimalee served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable James Wynn Jr. at the North Carolina Court of Appeals. She then worked as an associate at Hunton & Williams in Richmond, Virginia. Kimalee returned to North Carolina to serve as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Cressie Thigpen Jr. at the North Carolina Court of Appeals. From there, she served as a law clerk for the Honorable James Wynn Jr. at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.
