Aaron Gard

Regional Development Officer

Aaron Gard is a regional development officer, assisting with development and alumni relations for the law school. He is a North Carolina and Texas licensed attorney with over 15 years of experience practicing law. He has served a diverse array of corporate clients at every stage of the business life cycle, first in Jones Day’s Houston office, then in the Triangle at the Forrest Firm, Wyrick Robbins Yates & Ponton LLP and Life Sciences Law, PLLC. Aaron's practice areas included corporate formation and governance, commercial contracts and strategic transactions. He also served as in-house counsel for the global investment bank Credit Suisse in their Raleigh-based Center of Excellence. 

Aaron received his law degree from the Washington College of Law at American University in 2002 and his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 1997 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he was a four-year letterman on the varsity soccer team.  He is an entrepreneur and founder of the Durham-based multimedia company GreatestFan.
