Michelle Gunter is the Director of Admissions and Recruitment Management at the University of North Carolina School of Law. Michelle started her career in higher education at Spelman College as a member of the Housing and Residence Life Staff. She then moved to Paul Quinn College where she worked in Student Affairs, assisting with Housing, Student Activities and Community Service. Prior to joining the staff of UNC School of Law, Michelle served as an attorney for survivors of sexual assault with Lone Star Legal Aid and as an admissions recruiter for Texas A&M University School of Law.

 Michelle received her B.A. in Psychology from The University of Central Oklahoma, an M.A. in Community Counseling from Argosy University and a J.D. from Texas A&M University School of Law. Michelle is a licensed attorney in the state of Texas.

When she is not traveling across the country helping to create the next generation of lawyers she enjoys reading and volunteering in her community.
