Chris joined the University of North Carolina School of Law in August 2015. He counsels students and alumni on all aspects of career searching and development, with a particular focus on judicial clerkships and alternative careers.
A North Carolina native, Chris received his bachelor’s degree from Winthrop University and his J.D. from the Campbell University Norman A. Wiggins School of Law. Prior to joining Carolina Law, he served as a judicial clerk for Justice Barbara Jackson at both the Court of Appeals and Supreme Court of North Carolina and for Justice Cheri Beasley at the Supreme Court of North Carolina. Chris is a member of the North Carolina State Bar and practiced with firms in Charlotte and Raleigh with an emphasis on complex business litigation.
