The Balance Sheet also includes seminar papers and independent studies from relevant UNC Law courses. Your submission may be an original essay, a response or counter-argument to any Article or Note in a printed volume of the NCBI, or a commentary on recent legal events. Your submission should offer an insightful and unique perspective and should take the form of a short essay, which does not have to be heavily footnoted or sourced as a traditional law journal article. Citations should conform to the 18th Edition of The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation. With your submission, you must include an abstract of no more than 400 words in length, which will appear on The Balance Sheet to introduce your submission.
