Description:
The Legal Assistance Clinic is a two semester clinic in which students represent clients in employment, housing, education, and other civil rights and poverty law cases. Civil Clinic students also work on related advocacy projects based on community needs.

Civil Lawyering Process; Trial Advocacy; courses on civil rights, poverty, civil procedure, or professional responsibility topics.

Prerequisites:

Evidence is a prerequisite.

Corequisites:
Civil Lawyering Process is a co-requisite, which students must take in the fall semester. Trial Advocacy is a co/prerequisite, which may be taken in advance of the Civil Clinic or concurrently in the fall semester.
