Housing Law Course Number: Law 255 Hours: 3 Course Type: Upper-Level Writing Requirement: None Skills Requirement?: No Final Exam?: Yes Description: Critical examination of the scope, effect, and limitations of (1) the nation's housing policies and programs, and (2) of the nation's fair housing laws and policies. Additional topics are selected for study based on interests of class members. These may include administrative issues in complex programs; rights of consumers of governmentally assisted housing; national, state, and local issues in community development; social, political, economic and other factors affecting housing policies; and constitutional and statutory problems involving housing and revitalization.
