The course will address the purposes, law, and practice of workers' compensation. The course will include coverage of routine injuries as well as complex occupational diseases and will explore issues related to claims of mental trauma, repetitive motion disorders, chemical exposure, and workplace assaults. Students will also study practical aspects of representing injured workers and defending against compensation claims.
